Registration hours are from 9:30 - 2:30 Monday - Friday.

Kindergarten and First Grade = 8:20am - 1:50pm - Mondays - Fridays
Second through Fifth Grades = 8:35am - 3:05pm - (Wednesday, early release at 1:50pm)
After Care Information:
School personnel cannot undertake the responsibility of supervising students before and after school. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to arrange for the care of children before and after school.
There are several different services that provide before care, after care and private transportation services in the Ojus Elementary area. The YMCA is located on campus and offers both before and after care. Ojus Elementary does not endorse any particular service. It is up to the parent to make the right selection for your children based upon the needs of your family. Brochures for some of these providers may be found at the Ojus Elementary front office as well as at the time of orientation.
Uniforms are mandatory:
Tops = White, Navy or Yellow
Bottoms = Navy and Khaki
Ojus Superstar Spirit Shirts may be worn on Wednesdays.
Students may participate in Dress Down Friday Fundraisers. The cost is $1 per Friday to participate and students may wear appropriate, non-uniform clothing to school. Stay tuned for theme based Dress Down Days.

It is EASY to help us earn EXTRA MONEY for the Ojus Elementary Media Center.
Many of the products that you buy already have Box Top for Education labels on them. Please cut them out as you use the products, save them in an envelope or baggie until you have 50 Box Tops and have your child bring the Box Tops in to Ms. Graham in the media center. Each child who brings a batch of 50 Box Tops will receive a special treat. Learn More
UPDATE: Thank you for all of the support. Our school will get a check for $790.80 from box top submissions. These funds will go to purchase new library books for our students.
Box Top collection is ongoing. Our goal is to reach $1,500 by the end of the school year. Please help us. Keep saving your Box Tops! Collect them from relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers!
Scholastic Develop Parent Support Resource
Learning Heroes, in conjunction with The National Parent Teacher Association and Scholastic, have released "The Super 5" an interactive checklist designed to help parents foster a deeper understanding of what their child is learning at school and how to best assist them at any grade level. The checklist features nearly 20 links to resources focusing on a wide arrange of communications issues, including the best ways for parents to define what "success" is for their child in the upcoming school year; how to have a highly effective parent-teacher conversation; and, detailed information on the standardized tests in each state. The checklist also features guides for parents to identify if their child is being bullied at school, and to help them better understand the social challenges that their kids face as they grow up in a highly connected and tech-savvy world.
